Overview
If you get a new phone, you need set up your token in the VIP Access app on the new phone for EPCS in Cerbo. That is because the token's credential ID code (and the temporary verification code) is unique to the app as installed on your phone.

To set up the VIP Access app as your token on a new phone:
In Cerbo, go to Admin > EPCS Administration > Setup & Tools -> EPCS Token
Option 1:
If you know your EPCS/Token password:
Under “Setup a New Phone”, enter your EPCS/Token password and click “Open Token Setup”
Click “Deactivate this Token” to deactivate your old token.
Enter your EPCS password in boxes 1 and 2.
Enter the Credential ID from the VIP Access app on your new phone in box 3.
Enter the security code showing on your app in box 4
Click Register.
Option 2:
If you don’t remember your EPCS/Token Password, but you still have your old phone/token:
Under “I need to setup my new token, but I cannot remember my token password” select:
“I still have my old Token - Reset Password”
It will then prompt you to use your old phone/token to reset your EPCS/Token password. You would then follow the steps above in Option 1 to setup your new phone
Option 3:
If you do not know your EPCS/Token Password, AND you no longer have your old phone/token:
Under “I need to setup my new token, but I cannot remember my token password” select:
“I don’t have my old Token - USE IDP to setup Token and New Password”
You will be prompted to go through ID proofing again in order to verify your identity. Once complete you will be prompted to download the VIP Access app to your new phone (if you haven’t already). Then click through to Register your token - you are now in “Token Setup” and can follow the steps from Option 1 above.
